Phillip Pappas
Executive Producer
Phillip has enjoyed an extensive career in the film, television and music industries. He commenced his film career at The Film House with Fred Schepisi in the early 1980s before establishing his own production company.
During his time in the film industry - Phillip has produced feature films, high-impact corporate and training films, as well as acclaimed television commercials, documentaries and television series, concerts and major corporate events.
He has worked with some of Australia’s best Directors, including Fred Schepisi, as well as many international Directors.
(Roxanne, Evil Angels, Russia House) and George Miller (The Man from Snowy River).
Phillip holds a degree in Marketing and was a founding Director of the acclaimed “Melbourne International Music and Blues Festival” and “Tsunami Relief Concert”.




His achievements include notable international feature films and music events, as well as many awards including:
- A Penguin (now AFI) Award for ‘On Borrowed Time’ as Best Australian Documentary series.
- Mobius awards (US).
Robert Parsons
Project Development Director
Robert Parsons has enjoyed a long career in film marketing and production.
He began his career with The Hoyts Corporation (Australia) in the 1970s and progressed to be marketing and distribution manager during the 1980s.
At Hoyts and Hoyts-Edgley he was closely involved in production, promotion and distribution of major Australian features such as:
- Phar Lap
- Annie's Coming Out
- Crocodile Dundee
- Burke & Wills
In 2008 he co-produced ‘Cutting it at the Fringe’ (BWS Productions); a television documentary shot at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and sold to ABC-TV.
More recently he has co-written and is co-producing ‘The Course’, a ten episode television comedy series for television and cable release.
Robert also maintains a long-held interest in writing and publishing, and is a successful literary agent.
His published works include ‘Copycat’ (Harper-Collins/Blacklist 1989), which he co-wrote with Neil Jillett.
